Fitness Class descriptions
BARRE uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates. The barre or sometimes a chair, is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Also incorporates light handheld weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work.

YOGA:  Derived from the Sankrit word "yuj" which means "to unite or integrate", yoga is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge. Yoga is all about harmonizing the body with the mind and breath through the means of various breathing techniques, yoga postures (asanas) and meditation.

ZUMBA: 
Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included.You do not have to be a dancer to enjoy the fitness elements in this fun latin inspired cardio party.  This is not a technique class.  Just lots and lots of fun!


40/20 circuit training:
Get a fat blasting, full body sculpting workout in under 30 minutes with this amazing program created for all fitness levels!  Try the 8week challenge!  Do the 40/20 for 8 weeks and if you don't get results, we give you your money back!  Ask for details to qualify.
Silver Circuit:
a modified version of the 40/20 circuit for those that have difficulty with exercise.  We ask our "athletes" to not come in during this time.  Thank you.
